Description:

Member of the Molding Department Team who focuses on producing parts that meet all customer specifications at or below standard cost and in a clean and safe environment.

Job Responsibilities:

·Perform design of experiments (DOE) on all new tooling programs to establish the optimum molding/manufacturing process.
·Create and maintain all process and/or manufacturing related documentation.
·Assist Molding Technicians and Quality personnel with any process and/or manufacturing related issues.
·Lead the Molding Department’s Continuous Improvement Team.
·Participate as a member of the new Program Development/Quoting Team.
·Participate as a member of the APQP Project Team as it relates to molding issues.
·Participate in all ISO/QS internal and external audits related to the Molding Department.
·Promote cleanliness and safety policies and procedures throughout the entire company.
·Stay current (magazines, trade shows, seminars, etc.) on new molding-related technologies.
·Assist with mold set ups and material handling duties if required.

 Knowledge/Skills/Experience:

·        BSME or Plastics related degree required.
